Now in its 26th year in Central Kentucky, Bowl For Kids' Sake is the signature annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass. Donations raised by individual bowlers and corporate sponsors account for approximately half of our agency's annual income, and we are proud and grateful to be part of a community with so much energy, generous spirit, and enthusiasm for creating brighter futures for our children. It costs $1,000 to support a match for one year--pledges you raise can help our program GROW!
Getting involved is easy!
**Register online or call Big Brothers Big Sisters (or your company coordinator) to sign up. You can participate with a team of 4-5 bowlers, or as an individual.
**Try to get as many sponsors as you can at a minimum of $5 each. Online sponsors can donate immediately and securely with credit/debit card or electronic check on your personal BFKS webpage; offline sponsors may choose to donate directly to you (please collect checks rather than cash for security reasons) or we will be happy to bill them. Be sure to include full, accurate contact information on your sponsor sheet for all sponsors who choose the billing option.
**Be sure to raise at least $75 to get your FREE T-SHIRT!
**Call the Big Brothers Big Sisters office at 859-231-8181 or 800-201-8797 or email us at bfks@bbbs-bluegrass.org to schedule a time to bowl on the day of your county's bowling event.
**Bring your offline sponsor sheet, a printout of your online sponsor sheet, and any collected money with you when you bowl. WE WILL BILL YOUR SPONSORS for any uncollected pledges.
**Enjoy FREE Arby's sandwiches, Little Caesar's pizza, soft drinks, and one hour of BOWLING with your friends as a 'thank you' from Big Brothers Big Sisters for your support.
